David, can you be more specific about what you were doing? We really need some more repro steps if we want to fix this; we have not experienced this problem.

iPhone version is coming soon :-)
2  USER SUPPORT / Hotel / Hotel Collector's Edition / Re: Welcome to Hotel Forum! on: November 30, 2010, 07:59:13 PM
It is possible that the search utility does not search in hidden and system locations. Locations where you can find the log files should be:

* On Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Cateia Games\Hotel
* On Windows Vista/7: C:\ProgramData\Cateia Games\Hotel

Note that C:\ProgramData on Windows Vista/7 is probably marked as "hidden" by the operating system. You should be able to access it by going to Start->Run, and typing in: "%ProgramData%" (without quotes)  then clicking OK (or pressing enter).
3  USER SUPPORT / User Support Forum / Re: Cannot launch demo of King's Legacy (10.6.4/MBP 2.4GHzx2) on: September 03, 2010, 11:29:18 PM
King's Legacy shares no code with Kings of the Dark Age.

On topic, we've pinpointed the problem to Apple recently starting to ship computers with 64-bit kernel turned on by default, as opposed to some previous models with 64-bit Snow Leopard that actually ran 64-bit applications with 32-bit kernel.

In other words, you should try holding keys 3 and 2 while turning on the computer (while pressing the power button). This should force the 32-bit kernel to start.

Any future releases, and any future patches for our games will have this fixed (that is, it won't matter if you run a 32-bit or a 64-bit kernel)
4  USER SUPPORT / the Legend of Crystal Valley / Re: Bug in Crystal Valley on: January 30, 2010, 05:11:46 PM
My wife & I are playing the game.
When she came to the safe in the mayor's office, she poured the liquid from the pitcher into the safe.
>>Her 3rd tube CAN'T go all the way up. It stops one click short<<

I combined the vase with the water in the bucket and my 3rd tube fills to the top.

The bug ruins the game because when she poured the liquid from her vase into the safe it took away the vase. Now she can't add more water.
And if I hadn't done it another way, there would be NO WAY for her to solve the puzzle.

There is obviously a problem at this puzzle which needs a patch.

I'm ivucica :-)

So after you poured water into the safe and it didn't reach proper levels, so by emptying the two "outer vials" you still can't fill up the "inner vials" to the top? That's strange.

Or was it that you never managed to empty the "outer vials"?
5  USER SUPPORT / Shaman Odyssey: Tropic Adventure / Welcome to our Shaman Odyssey forum! on: January 21, 2010, 05:33:46 AM
Welcome to Shaman Odyssey: Tropic Adventure's board!

The people of your tribe are disunited for many years now. And although a tropical Laguna seems like a heavenly place to live, not everything is simple. Pirates are getting closer, sharks and surrounding islands, and storms and tornados are threatening peaceful villagers and their families. It's up to you to give your best and help your people to reunite and build a new safe place to live.

* Enjoy the beautiful tropical atmosphere and spectacular 3D graphics
* Choose your Shaman / She-Shaman and explore many tropical islands
* Build-up your villages and make your villagers happy
* Collect ingredients and prepare various magical potions
* Protect your villagers from ghosts, pirates, sharks and more

Just few places to get the game, as of writing this post...
Windows: Sandlot
Mac: Macgamestore
Of course, you can buy the game elsewhere on the web.

This game is also distributed in retail in Germany as "Tropical Odyssey: Baue dein Paradies!"

You can purchase French version from Big Fish Games

Dell Inspiron 1505
Intel Core Duo t2350@1.86 GHz
ATI Mobility Radeon X1400
Windows Vista

Do you need anything else?
I presume you have tried updating the gfx card drivers?

Can you give us some detail about your computer's configuration?

If you know how to do this, you can provide information from "dxdiag".
8  USER SUPPORT / the Legend of Crystal Valley / Re: game installation on: December 04, 2009, 01:15:42 AM
Please contact the publisher's support. Cateia did not design the installer.
9  USER SUPPORT / the Legend of Crystal Valley / Re: Cannot get game to run properly - cursor never changes on: November 15, 2009, 04:06:39 PM
You mean, case in-sensitive. File open api is insensitive, but yes, the filesystem should store the file case correctly.

We'll look for the simplest way to remedy your problem. Thanks!

Hm, that is quite odd. Can you verify existence of the following file, in correct caps:

...\The Legend of Crystal Valley\data\scene\farma\amp\Farma01.amp
11  USER SUPPORT / the Legend of Crystal Valley / Re: Cannot get game to run properly - cursor never changes on: November 13, 2009, 09:20:46 PM
I tried updating to the newest version of the driver provided by the manufacturer of my computer (which is about 5 years old, but still newer than the one I had!), and the cursor still never changes.

I have also tried both OpenGL and DirectX, as well as various resolutions, and nothing seems to help.
In which folder did you install the game?
Are you running 32 or 64 bit version of Windows?
Which version of Windows are you running?
Are you running Windows at all? :-)
12  Free games / Star Trek: The Neutral Zone 2 / Re: continued... on: September 28, 2009, 10:14:37 AM
We currently don't have the resources to even manage development of TNZ2. As was explained already, TNZ2 is on hold. Since we don't have a concrete detailed plan on what we exactly want with the game (there's a lot to discuss whenever you work on a project) there is no point in currently asking us about the entire thing.

You may ask "How? You worked on the game already" -- yes, but if we'll proceed, the game will be revamped completely. And there's no resources, time or will to do this now. Maybe in a few months, years, who knows.

TNZ2 was never finished.
TNZ1 is unsupported, and it was done long before Vista was released.
