***Ship Database authors wanted!***

I've started documenting ships that will get into TNZ2, but it's a big task and I'd rather devote my time to programming tnz2 then mass wiki editing. Therefore, I'd need volunteers to do this
When I first started out working on tnz2, I accumulated a large amount of ship images, they can be downloaded from:
http://tnz2.cateia.com/Ships.rar
so, you can use that as a base.
Major Diarr started documenting ships on the forum, that's a great start. when we agree on ship specifications, we can put them on the wiki.

I have various high quality images for Enterprise, in particular the NX-01, check it out.

I may have mentioned it before but artists get pissy when you use their renders for projects without permission, even if you're not making money off the project. Never mind, I see that warning is given in the ship listings page of the wiki.
I'll try to find more orthographic images from magazines. You don't have to worry about the stuff in my Enterprise reference pack, everything in it except the ENT era Bird of Prey are commercial, not private. The Andorian orthos might be private too but I'm not sure on that one.

yes I know, that's why I wrote about authors permissions in the wiki.

Do you want all combat ships listed regardless of era or only DS9+ era ships? If it's DS9 and beyond, that will eliminate ships not seen in DS9, maybe except the previous Enterprises for nostalgia's sake. If it's all regardless of era I can do that but does that mean you want one off Federation ships too? Ship's like the Constellation and Nova are a bit iffy if things are trying to stay small, although I like the Nova a lot, so I added it.
Check the list.

well, as far as I'm concerned, we can have just about any ship imaginable. there are no limitations.

Es Astris Scientia is better because it lists ships with a small image for quick visual recognition. We still need our own lists anyway, so we can post our own statistics and images for use in the game. If you wanted quick stats then the only choice is DITL.org but I wouldn't use it blindly because although it is the most complete source Trek ship stats, it derives its information from several non-combat scenes and works from there on based on what feels right. We may need to use any but I rather wait on using any outside source for stats. We will need to guess on stats too but I feel we are starting from a stronger position with the information I've collected and will collect.

I've added some more links but I would like remove some of the links previously posted since I don't think they are rigorous enough nor concentrate enough on ships specifically.
