Demo + Windows 2000 = Fail

Hey,

So I installed Win2K on an old machine that was lying around and the game won't work: I get the white screen with the king, then the black screen with the logo (upper left), then I get

D:\ Is the DVD drive, I don't understand why something is pointing there (it's empty).

Tell me please, which setup is the game known to work with? 95? 98? 98SE? ME? NT4.0?

I dunno, it should work on all windows versions >= Win98. Did you install the patch?

the safest bet I guess would be winXP without IE7.
