puzzle in storage shed

After placing the figures in the proper arrangement, there is supposed to be an opening that appears in the wall.  Nothing happens in my game.  I consulted a walk through because I had no where else to go.  How can I correct this?  I bought my copy at Target.

seems like you didn't place the statues in correct order.

after the puzzle, there should be a hole in the left corner of the room. click on it and watch the cut-scene...

both of the walkkthroughs say the same thing.  Could the dvd be inoperable?

no. the DVD has nothing to do with this.... the only possible explanation is that you did something wrong, but I'm not sure what
when you place the statues in correct order, the robot poster on the left of the shelf will disappear and a black hole will open. then you need to pick up the hand light (on the floor - down right). then you can step inside the hole. perhaps you don't have the hand light yet? (because it will not let you step inside if you don't have a light first since it's too dark in there).
